Serendipity

Check out this nifty, dizzying, pointless, pretty Spotify app: Serendipity. Two people hit play on Spotify at the same time and their locations light up on the Serendipity map as a clip of the song plays.  Does that mean if Songblimpers all hit play on a Shaggs song at once it will blow up the map?


(Actually, no–the app maps an hour of Spotify history, not a live feed. Oh well.)

Serendipity was also the name of a haunting 1976 elementary school reader, now rare–buy it on Amazon for just $999.11! Or just read over the series name list and shudder for free:
